The aim of the promotion is to raise awareness that many of the individual’s life problems are more easily solved with the knowledge that adult education is a normal part of this life-span, and that adults can learn as successfully as young people. Promotional activities contribute to the awareness that education contributes to greater employability, mobility, personal development and quality of life in modern society and to the cultivation of adult education as a value. The activities also contribute to raising the profile of the importance of lifelong learning and greater involvement in education to raise educational attainment, with a particular focus on the over-45s and under-educated.

The promotional event lasts at least three hours (180 min). Promotional activities involve stakeholders from the statistical region (eg chambers, employers, regional employment services, schools).
