broad professional-theoretical and practically applicable knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering;<\/li>\n<li>to develop generic and vocational specific competences in the field of mechanical demanding energy systems,<\/li>\n<li>how to take care of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly use,<\/li>\n<li>how to identify opportunities for deployment of automation and lead projects in the field of automation of production processes\n<li>how to independently design automation of simple production processes and participate in the design and implementation of automation of complex production processes,<\/li>\n<li>how to design, organize and manage preventative maintenance work on machines, devices and energy systems in the production process,<\/li>\n<li>how to analyze the impact of maintenance on company costs,<\/li>\n<li>how to plan, plan and organize work and manage production,<\/li>\n<li>how to plan the costs and investments of production processes,<\/li>\n<li>how to qualify for the design process of tool design based on customer requirements, including selecting and defining standard tool parts,<\/li>\n<li>how to know the economic and technological characteristics of a tool.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>4\u00a0\u00a0 DURATION OF THE STUDY AND EVALUATION WITH CREDIT POINTS<\/h3>\n<p><strong>The study lasts two (2) years.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The study program is evaluated with 120 ECTS credits.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>5\u00a0\u00a0 ENTRY CONDITIONS<\/h3>\n<p>Anyone who has passed the general or vocational matura or has completed the relevant education according to the previous regulations or has passed master&#8217;s, foreman&#8217;s or manager&#8217;s exam, three years of work experience and has passed the knowledge test in general subjects to the extent specified for vocational matura in secondary vocational education can enroll in post-secondary studies.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>6\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0SELECTION CRITERIA IN CASE OF ENTRY LIMITS<\/h3>\n<p>Applicants who have completed a grammar school or other secondary professional education program (including a five-year program, a secondary or continuing vocational education program) or a vocational course will be considered on the basis of the sum obtained by a factor of 2 multiplied by the grade points of the overall grade-point graduation, professional graduation or final exam (expressed in points and converted to a grade from 2 to 5), and grades of overall success in the 3rd and 4th year or last two years of high school.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants who have passed the master&#8217;s or manager&#8217;s or management exam will be summed up for by a factor of 2 multiplied by the marks of overall success in the master&#8217;s or foreman&#8217;s or manager&#8217;s exam (expressed in points and converted to a rating scale of 2 to 5), and marks in the test of knowledge of Slovene language where students undergo practical training.<\/p>\n<p>The academic year comprises<strong> 34 weeks of educational work<\/strong>, in the first and second year, of which <strong>24 weeks are lectures, seminars and laboratory exercises at schoo<\/strong> and <strong>10 weeks of practical education at employers or in inter-company educational centers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The studies are carried out as full-time, part-time and distance studies.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>10\u00a0\u00a0 CONDITIONS FOR PROMOTION TO THE HIGHER YEAR AND COMPLETION OF THE STUDY<\/h3>\n<h5>Conditions for promotion:<\/h5>\n<p>A student may be promoted to year 2 if he or she has successfully completed the obligations related to modules, courses and practical education (including tutorials, seminars, projects, exams, etc.) of year 1 in the amount of <strong>at least 45 ECTS credits<\/strong>, and if he \/ she <strong>completely complete the exercises and practical training obligations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h5>Conditions for repeating the year:<\/h5>\n<p>A student may repeat a year if he \/ she completes the study obligations and practical education of the same year in the amount of <strong>at least 20 ECTS credits<\/strong>, while <strong>while fully completing the practical education obligations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The repetition of the year is approved by the study committee of the higher vocational school on the basis of the student&#8217;s written application.<\/p>\n<h5>Requirements for completion of studies<\/h5>\n<p><strong>1.
