The dormitory was founded in 1945. It has been refurbished several times in its rich history, and was given the present appearance in 1984, when the building, which houses the dining room and administrative premises, was thoroughly renovated. Another building, which is connected by a corridor with the old one, was rebuilt. Recently, bathrooms, the boiler room, the roof, as well as the social areas have been renovated. The equipment of the dormitories in one building of the home has been renovated. The surrounding area is surrounded by playgrounds that were built in the past by students and still serve their purpose.
